Bohemian OOTD

Today’s weather was a little gloomy but I always seem to be productive on rainy/grey days. This outfit is super comfy and I’m in love with the bohemian feel! The dress I’m wearing is from Target (oh, btw it has pockets!!) and the shoes are from Khols. I’m also wearing a necklace from Francesca’s but it’s hard to see it in the picture.

Let me know how your week has been and what styles you’ve been into lately!

What I Eat in a Day

Hey there! Recently, I documented the food I ate throughout the day to share with you! I absolutely love “What I Eat in a Day” blog posts, youtube videos, etc. It’s so fun to see what other people enjoy eating and to get inspiration for yourself. So here it is!

For breakfast, I made a smoothie bowl filled with blueberries, strawberries and bananas! I topped it off with some granola for some extra “crunch.” These are great for breakfast because they’re filled with tons of vitamins and I always stay full for HOURS.

At lunchtime, I decided to make the most delicious caesar salad ever (it comes in a salad kit… probably why it’s good) along with some watermelon and Pom juice tea! This lunch was super refreshing and loaded with taste.

Of course you can’t have lunch and not dessert! I eat these babies 24/7 because they are just so delicious ( and a way better alternative to Ben & Jerry’s). Frozen bananas may sound a little weird, but I promise you they are super tasty and worth a try!

Lastly, my mom made these AMAZING chicken fajitas for dinner. I like to top my mine with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guac, and salsa. I only pictured one but I might have eaten two or three… shh!

What kinds of foods do you like to eat? Let me know in the comments because I love trying new foods! Have a great week 🙂

Anticipating Summer

With so much going on in my life right now, it has become easy to get swallowed whole by the schoolwork, laundry, errands, work, and all the other junk that is keeping me busy. Even though I like being productive, I have also been keeping my eye on the calendar for that day when school will end and all the pressure of school will be off. I am starting to get “summeritis” (definition here) since my last week of school is in May. Knowing that summer is so soon, I’ve been thinking more and more about what I want to do this summer. I definitely want to take a few trips to the beach, visit New York City, and maybe even buy a milkshake at Wawa at 3 am. I’ve realized that this is my last summer where I’ll still be a kid -I’m seventeen, by the way. Now this does not mean I want to let loose and go crazy but it does mean I want to adventure and have a little bit of fun since next summer I will be busy with college and all. I’m thinking about making a Summer ’16 Bucket List of sorts filled with all the things I want to do. I’m not sure if anyone else makes these but I seem to make one every year haha. I sometimes follow through on the list but not always. I’m super excited for what’s to come and the anticipation is making present day seem boring. Good thing Summer’s coming soon!

Do any of you make Summer Bucket lists or have summeritis? If so let me know down in the comments!

Easter Eve OOTD

Hello readers!

Is anyone else excited for Easter? Because I know I am! Easter is one of those holidays where happiness permeates the air. Another perk of Easter is the gorgeous spring weather! Unfortunately, where I live it is still pretty cold (50s and 60s) and therefore cannot wear shorts. Boo hoo! 😦 Because of this, I decided to wear jeans and a sweater to keep me warm.

I chose this pastel tank top from Forever 21 because it reminded me of spring! Underneath, I wore a grey American Eagle bralette. I then added a white sweater from Kohl’s for some extra warmth. My ripped jeans are from Garage and I completed the look with my super comfortable Sperry’s!

What is the weather like near you? Hopefully warmer than near me!

Happy Easter!
