My new favorite powder!

So I recently took a trip to my local Ulta and stumbled upon this beauty. I didn’t go into the store intending to buy this product, let alone any other product. Although, my powder at home was running low so I’m glad I bought this.

First of all, this powder is AMAZING! Besides the fact that it smells like chocolate (how is this just now a thing?!), this powder is excellent in all ways, shapes, and forms. The packaging is super cute and the container closes nicely; unlike other powders I’ve had. This product also comes with an applicator sponge that is stored below the powder. This is great for storage and traveling. Besides looks, I immediately was attracted to the consistency of the powder. When I swatched it on my hand, it glided on smooth, elegant, and thick. I normally use powder on top of a liquid foundation or bb cream; but this could be used as foundation alone! In fact, that’s what I used it for today! I have not tried too many powders; but of the ones I have, this one tops the charts.

If you’re looking for a new finishing powder or powder foundation, I would HIGHLY recommend this chocolate smelling, color correcting, and matte finishing powder! 10/10 thanks for this one Too Faced! 😍

The 1975 Concert

Recently, I attended a concert in Philly for the 1975! The tickets were not very expensive (ranging from $35-50) and then venue was very clean and organized. They had food trucks, food stands, drinks, and merch for sale. The band merchandise was a bit on the pricey side- $40 for a tank top. All in all, the band put on an amazing show and the whole atmosphere was relaxing. During the first song, some people started moshing (not sure why ? Lol) but Matt immediately stopped the whole show and asked everyone to stop and to “help everyone up, give them a kiss, and show some compassion.” The music was incredible and I highly suggest everyone to see them live!

What I Eat in a Day

Hey there! Recently, I documented the food I ate throughout the day to share with you! I absolutely love “What I Eat in a Day” blog posts, youtube videos, etc. It’s so fun to see what other people enjoy eating and to get inspiration for yourself. So here it is!

For breakfast, I made a smoothie bowl filled with blueberries, strawberries and bananas! I topped it off with some granola for some extra “crunch.” These are great for breakfast because they’re filled with tons of vitamins and I always stay full for HOURS.

At lunchtime, I decided to make the most delicious caesar salad ever (it comes in a salad kit… probably why it’s good) along with some watermelon and Pom juice tea! This lunch was super refreshing and loaded with taste.

Of course you can’t have lunch and not dessert! I eat these babies 24/7 because they are just so delicious ( and a way better alternative to Ben & Jerry’s). Frozen bananas may sound a little weird, but I promise you they are super tasty and worth a try!

Lastly, my mom made these AMAZING chicken fajitas for dinner. I like to top my mine with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guac, and salsa. I only pictured one but I might have eaten two or three… shh!

What kinds of foods do you like to eat? Let me know in the comments because I love trying new foods! Have a great week 🙂

Anticipating Summer

With so much going on in my life right now, it has become easy to get swallowed whole by the schoolwork, laundry, errands, work, and all the other junk that is keeping me busy. Even though I like being productive, I have also been keeping my eye on the calendar for that day when school will end and all the pressure of school will be off. I am starting to get “summeritis” (definition here) since my last week of school is in May. Knowing that summer is so soon, I’ve been thinking more and more about what I want to do this summer. I definitely want to take a few trips to the beach, visit New York City, and maybe even buy a milkshake at Wawa at 3 am. I’ve realized that this is my last summer where I’ll still be a kid -I’m seventeen, by the way. Now this does not mean I want to let loose and go crazy but it does mean I want to adventure and have a little bit of fun since next summer I will be busy with college and all. I’m thinking about making a Summer ’16 Bucket List of sorts filled with all the things I want to do. I’m not sure if anyone else makes these but I seem to make one every year haha. I sometimes follow through on the list but not always. I’m super excited for what’s to come and the anticipation is making present day seem boring. Good thing Summer’s coming soon!

Do any of you make Summer Bucket lists or have summeritis? If so let me know down in the comments!

Hey readers!

These pictures aren’t the best and they we’re taken on my IPhone. However, this day was too much fun to not document. My boyfriend called me up and said something along the lines of, “Hey! Let’s go play mini golf and arcade games and pretend we’re kids again!” I already had a free mini golf game for the place so I decided it’d be fun. My boyfriend, his three friends, and I all headed over and played a game of mini golf (which I did not win lol). Then we all went back inside and spent tons of tokens on ski ball, air hockey, driving games and more. By the end of the night, we had acquired a giant pile of tickets! Which I, obviously, tried to fold up all nicely for the lady at the ticket counter. Only problem was that the guys didn’t care and just ran away with the pile towards the counter. The girl counted our tickets and we ended up having over 2,000 tickets! Basically my childhood dream. I didn’t really want any of the prizes so the guys picked out four blow dart things, candy, slime, and giant smarties. I had the most fun that I’ve had in awhile. I absolutely love how Steven (my boyfriend) can make any day fun and adventurous. Next time you decide to go out, maybe try mini golf or an arcade! You might have more fun than you think 😉

I Want to Visit Bora Bora

borabora pic

For a long time, I wanted to visit the Maldives. After learning that they we’re on the coast of Africa, I decided that I would not want to be on a plane for that long. The main thing I liked about the Maldives was the super cute tiki huts over the water. I so badly wanted to visit an island like the Maldives (but closer to home, if possible). Over time, I learned of a place called Bora Bora! This place was similar to the Maldives because they had the tiki huts on the crystal clear water. Obviously there we’re differences between the two but I started to really really like Bora Bora the more I learned about it.

It turns out that some very famous people have stayed at Bora Bora. The Kardashians visited Bora Bora in 2011 and had their whole trip shown on their reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Their trip showed all of the exciting things you can do in Bora Bora; like lose a pair $75,000 earrings. After seeing their show, I started to realize how fun of a place Bora Bora would be to visit.

Another famous couple (that I love!) visited this place as well. The famous YouTube stars Aspyn and Parker Ferris! They went to Bora Bora for their honeymoon last year and had a blast. They vlogged their trip on Youtube showing all the exciting things they did. Activities ranged from snorkeling, swimming, tanning, eating, and so much more.

Bora Bora is truly my dream destination. I hope to one day to visit such a beautiful place filled with beautiful blue skies and luscious green land. If I was to go, I’d most definitely stay in a bungalow over the water with steps into the ocean (like how cool is that!?). Aside from swimming, you’d catch me biking, eating, taking pictures, learning about the native culture, snorkeling, and hopefully spending quality time with whoever I go with.

If any of you have ever visited Bora Bora, please share with me your adventures and pictures 🙂

Have a great weekend everyone!
